RATHER QUIET ISSUE 04 | LANGUAGE
Waris is a highschool senior, bookworm and writer. His interests include Islamic theology, particle physics, cosmology, maths, and computer science. His writings have been published on blogs like The Ascent, The Nonconformist and Deen Over Dunya. Currently, he’s working on a number of writing projects on a variety of topics ranging from the seerah to physics. Most notably though, he's known for his peculiar habit of scribbling down equations and solving them whenever he finds himself unoccupied.

Jcitykey (writer) was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and is currently pursuing a degree in the applied sciences. He has been writing poetry since he was 13, and more consistently since the age of 21. He takes from the likes of Percy Shelly and Homer, and more recently from the likes of Mawlana Rumi, Allama Iqbal and other mystic poets.

Timi Sanni is a writer, literary enthusiast, Muslim literature advocate and first year student at Lagos State University, Nigeria. His works have been published on numerous literary platforms, anthologies and journals. He is a SprinNG Fellowship Alumnus. He won the Writers for Humanity poetry contest in 2019 and the Fitrah Review writing contest in Ramadan 2020.
When he is not studying or writing, he is either painting or exploring new places.

Salman Sowdagar is a poet and author from Hyderabad, India. Apart from getting published in his home country, his work has been published in the US, Mauritius, Taiwan, and the UK. His work has appeared in magazines like The Bombay Review, Infinithoughts, Merak magazine, Verse of Silence, The Pangolin Review, CultureCult magazine, and in anthologies like The World Anthology of Poetry 2016 (released as a part of The 32nd World Congress of Poets in Taiwan), The Hall of Poets Anthology, Asian Poetry Anthology, Wordweavers Anthology, and more. He has a BA in English from IGNOU and is currently studying for a master's in English at MANUU, Hyderabad.
